We know you love us hunting down the best products at the most affordable prices. To do this we try to keep all of our costs down including the cost of covering returns from our customers and do not accept returns (except where the basis of the return is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act)
So when you’re at the checkout, please take a few seconds to run your eye over your order for any slips of the finger before purchasing because once you’ve purchased, it’s final.
We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions are as detailed and accurate as possible, including sizing and colour guides for specific products. Please choose carefully as we are unable to exchange products once you've received your order unless we have made a genuine mistake in our description (which we do as we are human too) or where your request to exchange is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
If you think you have a case for a genuine exchange request then please contact us first before sending your order back to us as it may get declined and returned to you. In all cases proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange. Please note products returned to us for an exchange must be in a resalable and new condition with original packaging intact and all labels, instructions manuals etcetera returned with the product.
Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of improper use, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy.
If you feel that your purchase has a fault that is covered under warranty please contact us, including as much detail as possible (include a photo of the fault if possible or applicable) so that we can fully assess the situation and advise you of a solution.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Easy Trade Ltd. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or refund you for the product.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misinformed, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was manufactured; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act.
How to return a product:
If you think that you have a valid and convincing reason to return under the policies described above please contact us before sending your order back to us as the processes we use are different depending upon your situation and or product. If you do not contact us first it could delay your request or result in your claim being rejected. In all cases proof of purchase will be necessary to process your request.
Change to orders
We know that our sales can be popular and things sell fast but it's really important for everyone that our customers’ orders come through with all the information we require. Unfortunately, once you've submitted your order and payment has been accepted, it is often too late to make any changes to it, which includes sizes, colours, quantity, and address details. It's not that we don’t want to but we move fast so you get your parcel quickly. If any changes are to be made, please do so within a few hours after purchase, otherwise we cannot guarantee a change can be made.
You don't need to rush things once the product is in your basket as you might have a few days to finish the order before you lose the product from your basket. In the meantime that product is allocated to you and cannot be purchased by another customer.
Out of Stock and Rain checks
While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfil your order or source a replacement product. If this should occur we will contact you and offer either a store credit for the value of your purchase or a full refund. Please note that we cannot offer a backorder or "rain check" facility.
